Booking Conditions

  • Prices are subject to availability at the time of booking. Pricing cannot be guaranteed until a deposit has been received and services are confirmed.

  • All airfare is required to be paid in full at the time of booking. Payments for cruise packages, travel arrangements, and related services may require deposits or full payment depending on the supplier’s policies. Payment methods will be communicated at the time of booking.

  • Airfares are only guaranteed once full payment has been made. Airlines reserve the right to change fares, taxes, fuel surcharges, and fees without notice. We recommend paying early to secure the best available rates.

  • Deposit amounts vary depending on the cruise line or supplier. A typical deposit for cruise packages starts from $500 per person, but this may vary based on cruise line policies, promotions, or itinerary type.

  • Final payment for your package is typically due 60–90 days prior to departure. Some cruise lines or partners may require final payment earlier.

Change Penalties

Any voluntary changes to a confirmed booking (including name changes, date changes, or itinerary adjustments) may incur additional fees set by the cruise line or supplier.

 

Suppliers may charge change penalties in accordance with their policies. Sail Away Cruises also charges a $75 per person administrative fee for any changes that require re-issuing travel documents or tickets.

Cancellation Fees

We understand that plans sometimes change. Cruise lines, airlines, and travel suppliers each have their own cancellation policies. In addition to supplier penalties, Sail Away Cruises applies a $500 per person cancellation fee for land and cruise arrangements.

 

This fee may be refundable through your travel insurance if you are cancelling for an insurable reason.

Standard Cancellation Penalties (for land/cruise arrangements unless otherwise specified by the supplier)

  • All deposits are non-refundable.

  • 44–21 days before departure — 60% of the total price

  • 20–7 days before departure — 80% of the total price

  • 7 days or less before departure — 100% of the total price

 

Additional cancellation fees may apply during peak travel periods or special events.

Refunds & Unused Services

Travel arrangements cancelled or altered within 24 hours of departure, or after travel has commenced, are non-refundable. Unused services are non-refundable.

 

Sail Away Cruises is not responsible for losses, inconveniences, or additional charges caused by third-party suppliers (such as cruise lines, airlines, tour operators, or vehicle rental companies).

Travel Supplier Responsibility

Sail Away Cruises acts as an agent between our clients and various independent travel suppliers. We are not responsible for the actions, financial position, or service quality of these suppliers. Any claims or issues arising during travel will be handled in accordance with the supplier’s terms and conditions.

Currency & Exchange Rates

All payments are processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise specified. Exchange rate losses incurred during refunds or cancellations will not be refunded.

All terms and conditions are subject to change without notice based on supplier policy updates or regulatory requirements.
